Cable, Phone and Internet Service
All the major cable, phone and internet services are available in the Austin area (including Comcast), although coverage will vary based on location. A really nice service is provided by Broadband now. Just enter the zip code of the area you're moving to and the site will list all the available providers for that particular location.
Driver's Licensing for Texas
This site will give you the information you need to get your driver's licence for the State of Texas
Pet Licensing
Strangely, Austing proper does not seem to have pet licensing requirements. However, many of the surrounding areas do.

You may have already picked your phone provider, but just in case, check here.
Utilities
Texas has many utility companies to choose from. Of course, coverage varies by location. This site will give you a list of available utility providers based on your zip code.
Vehicle Registration
